This is a nice enough image, but something that could have looked stunning seems to have missed the mark.

I believe this image would have benefited from some HDR, with the trees taken at a time when the sun was at 11 or 2 o'clock to give nice colour to the trees and good shading, and the background to be taken at a time when it was similar to this, quite moody (scottish-like in other words ;) )
