Many people try to take one of those places and hold them on digital ways.
Zardo is one of these photographers
But beside all the others he creates a new impression of a lonely railroad through a dark atmosphere.
The whole picture leads the observer to the distance where the rail ends.
On the left side there is a "Picture in Picture" (was it your intention Zardo?)
The House on the hilltop reinforces that impression of loneliness.
In Contrast to this,there is a right side witch a car that provides a little breeze of civilisation.
The only point of critique is the sky.
I am sure that its the unpopular side effect of grain that comes with the HDR-Merge but i think there could be insert some blur to balance it and make the sky softer

The Conclusion:
An Awesome impression , as we know it from Zardo.
Besides a sky, the whole picture is bursting from all these details and little "pictures in picture"
