To be quite honest, I love this picture! Two things came to mind when I first saw this picture. One, Pride and Prejudice *haha* and Two, a mix between enchantment and hauntedness. To me, the trees look like they are going to close in on you! Which I think is the best part of the photo. The background with the hundred of years old buildings are beautiful. The gravel in the picture is the brightest thing in the picture, which naturally makes the rims of the photo dark and mysterious. With no leaves on the trees make it seem really chilly and with the empty bench, it shows that it is too dark and cold to sit after a long stroll around the large house [in the background]. Without the dark green grass and moss, I would have simply thought that the picture was in black and white. But it is a nice touch, in my opinion, to the dark setting. Amazing Job!!!

I'm very picky about photographs, but I can honestly say that this is an exquisite picture! The darkness and emptyness of the road are haunting yet inspiring, almost tempting you to walk towards the mysterious house in the background. The angle, lighting, and every other aspect of this photo are perfect. I also love how the moss on the trees almost makes them look like they're glowing, and the lonely old bench fits in beautifully. The colors and tones of this picture make it look like a painting. Everything blends together so well to make this a truly striking scene. Wonderful piece of art!!!!

nice contrast, trees lead ones eye to mystery builidings, light courses down path, and also reflects off other buildings. Great composition, elicits one to think much, very good.
