the angle is very well done as well and I like how you have maintained shadowing around the perspective border, so it looks more alluring towards the point of view versus a flat shot.
I also must say that the image as a whole is comforting and can indeed be considered somber to some, but in my opinion it is a definite soothing piece that one couldn't feel tired of looking at for hours on end
